Augmented Reality France covers all France cities.
Augmented Reality France is a new application that enables you to visualize Points of Interest (POI) located in your nearby environment in France, thanks to a unique augmented reality technology using the iPhone camera.
POI databases include restaurants, WiFi hotspots, hotels, metro and bus stations (Paris Metro, Paris Bus, Lyon Metro, Marseille Metro), etc. Elements located at a distance less than 1km (0,621miles) only will be displayed on the screen.

- Vertical position: 360-degree view of all POI nearby your location, updated in real time as you walk in the streets.
- Horizontal position: List of all nearest POI. When a POI is selected, a blue arrow (compass) is displayed to show the direction and the distance to that POI.
- The application is fully compatible with Google Maps. It is possible to locate the nearest POI from your position on Google Maps within the application.

Funktioniert Einwand frei. Toller "reality browser"!!!
Looks like once you purchase this App you have to continue purchasing additional Apps to make it fuction. Not happy with it just uninstalled it.
You need to change the section under "Requirements" to indicate that it requires the iPhone 3Gs. I just purchased the app after carefully checking the requirements, which said "iPhone or iPod" and "OS 3.1" which I have. It didnt mention that it requires the 3Gs, which I dont have. I found the mention "designed for the 3Gs" in another part of the blurb, but it needs to be in the requirements which some people will read without reading all of the PR material above. I have no idea what rating to give here, for me it doesnt work at all of course but it sounds like a useful app for those who can use it. Ill go down the middle and give three stars.
